资源简介:
Plants of the genus Plectranthus are used for the treatment of digestive problems, skin disease, and allergies, with a wide variety of uses. Here, the complete chloroplast genome sequence of P. hadiensis (Benth. ex E.Mey) Codd. 1788 was assembled and characterized. The full length of the chloroplast genome is 152,484bp, consisting of a small single-copy region (SSC) of 17686bp, a large single-copy region (LSC) of 83380bp, and a pair of inverted repeats (IRs) of 51418bp. The overall GC content is 37.73%. The chloroplast genome contains 121 unique genes, including 87 protein-coding genes (PCGs), 36 transfer RNA (tRNA) genes, and 8 ribosomal RNA (rRNA) genes. Phylogenetic tree construction based on the complete chloroplast genome sequences of 28 species (19 Lamioideae, 7 Ocimoideae, 2 Ajugoideae) of the family Labiaceae showed that P. tomentosa was the closest relative to Nepeta cataria.
