Biovigilance platform for cereal rusts. air metagenome

This dataset comprises ITS2 metabarcoding data for rust fungi, generated from 271 airborne spore samples gathered over four growing seasons (2015-2018) in British Columbia, and from the 2018 season in southern Alberta. The sequencing libraries were prepared with a rust-enhanced primer pair, Rust2inv (5'-GAT GAA GAA CAC AGT GAA A-3') and ITS4var_H (5'- TCC TCY GCT TAT TGA TAT GC-3'), as described by Chen et al., 2021 (doi: https://doi.org/10.1094/phyto-01-21-0020-r). These sequencing data were generated by Wen Chen, Guus Bakkeren, and Andre Laroche from Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.
