资源简介:
Accumulating evidences have shown that tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (TDF) can directly attenuate liver fibrosis, the mechanism of which, however, has not been fully elucidated, and there is a paucity of data concerning whether TDF can also mitigate other chronic liver diseases (CLDs). To ask this question, we used RNA-seq to determine the effect of tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (TDF, 45.5 mg/kg/day) or saline (equivalent volume) on mouse liver, which showed that TDF had the potential to ameliorate CLDs independently of its antiviral activity by affecting the expression of genes involved in hepatic immune, inflammatory, and metabolic processes. Samples were taken after 4 months of oral oral gavage treatment with TDF or saline.
