Norwegian Citizen Panel round 30, 2024

The Norwegian Citizen Panel is a platform for online surveys of Norwegian citizens’ attitudes and changes in attitudes within important areas of society and politics. This is mainly social science research, but also includes collaborations related to the humanities, natural sciences, and medical fields (particularly user involvement, health prioritization, and community medicine). The purpose is research and research dissemination.

Participants are randomly recruited from the National Population Register and are encouraged to participate over time. The panel was first launched in the autumn of 2013, and since 2017, surveys have been conducted three times a year. The dataset for Norwegian Citizen Panel round 30 also includes variables from previous rounds, with the round number indicated by the digit after “r” in the variable name. The University of Bergen is the owner and data controller for the Citizen Panel. Ideas2evidence is responsible for the technical implementation. Data are stored and disseminated by Sikt – The Knowledge Sector’s service provider. The Citizen Panel welcomes research proposals for the survey.
