Basketball video games corpus: standalone titles (1974–2010) and NBA Live / NBA 2K annual iterations (1994–2024)

A metadata set assembled for the study "Playing Basketball on Screen…". It comprises two tables: (1) 85 standalone basketball video games (1974–2010), one row per game × platform, from an emulated, replayable library documented by the LaunchBox Games Database; and (2) 50 annual iterations of the NBA Live (1994–2019) and NBA 2K (1999–2024) franchises, with developer and publisher recorded per era. Fields include title, platform, developer, publisher, release year/date and region. See README.md for the full codebook, provenance and limitations.
