Dataset for Partial Parallelism Plot Analysis in Neurodegeneration Biomarker Assays (2010–2024)

<b>Dataset Description</b>This dataset accompanies the systematic review <i>“Parallelism in Neurodegenerative Biomarker Tests: Hidden Errors and the Risk of Misconduct.”</i><br>It contains the curated dilutional data used to generate 49 standardized partial parallelism plots across key biomarker assays for Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and related neurodegenerative conditions.<br>The dataset includes raw and processed dilution curves for major biomarkers such as: Amyloid fragments, A-beta 1-40, A-beta 1-42, A-beta oligomers, alpha-synuclein, DJ-1, total tau protein (Tau), phospho tau proteins (pTau181, pTau217, pTau231), Apolipoprotein E (ApoE) isoforms E2, E3, E4, neurofilament light chain (NfL), neurofilament heavy chain (NfH), glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP), and poly(GP).<br>Each dataset entry is annotated with:Sample type (serum, plasma, cerebrospinal fluid)Assay platform and dilution stepsClassification of outcome (partial parallelism achieved or not)<b>Use cases:</b><br>This dataset is designed to help researchers, assay developers, and meta-analysts to:Reproduce figures and analyses from the published reviewBenchmark or validate new assay performance pipelinesTrain algorithms for automated detection of dilutional non-parallelism<b>Files included:</b><code>.csv</code> files containing dilution–response dataMetadata spreadsheets with assay and sample annotations
