Galilee Upper Permian coal measures gas contents from WCR

## **Abstract** \n\nThe dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement.\n\nThe processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement. \n\n\n\nDry Ash Free Gas content and gas isotope data from drill core samples from various geological units were for the Galilee subregion. The geological units are the Upper Permian coal measures, Aramac Coal Measures of the Galilee Basin, and the Winton Formation which is a part of the Eromanga Basin. The gas content data was utilised to show the distribution of gas in the Upper Permian coal measures and to look at variation in gas contents with depth below surface. 针对加利利次区域（Galilee subregion）不同地质单元的钻孔岩芯样本，采集了干无灰基气体含量（Dry Ash Free Gas）与气体同位素数据，涉及的地质单元包括：二叠纪上部煤系、加拉利盆地（Galilee Basin）的阿拉马克煤系（Aramac Coal Measures），以及隶属于埃罗曼加盆地（Eromanga Basin）的温顿组（Winton Formation）。上述气体含量数据用于表征二叠纪上部煤系的气体分布特征，并分析气体含量随地表埋深的变化规律；气体同位素数据则可用于指示气体的成因来源。

加利利BA团队（Galilee BA team）从QDNRM数据库中存储的钻井完井报告（Well Completion Report，WCR）内，整理获取了煤层样本的干无灰基气体含量与气体同位素数据。
