Metagenomic Analysis of the Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) Virome

This dataset includes three partial genomic RNA segments (segments 1, 5, and 7) of a divergent amnoonvirus, provisionally named AmnoonvirusEGY1, identified in Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) through Oxford Nanopore sequencing. Samples were collected from five locations across Egypt: Faiyum, Lake Mariout, Sharqia, Kafr ElSheikh, and Port Said. The viral sequences were detected in this broader sampling effort. These data are part of an ongoing, unpublished study, and access is restricted until formal publication.
