Clinical and gastric Burkholderia pseudomallei

Investigations and comparison of the whole genome sequencing of B. pseudomallei isolated from gastrointestinal tract and blood may provide better understanding of the role of the different B. pseudomallei genes that may be involved in pathogenesis of the disease. Thus, we seem it would be interesting to analyse and compare the B. pseudomallei genome which colonised two distinct environments in human. This may shed light on a detailed understanding of the evolution and adaptation of B. pseudomallei within the host during infection.
