This section includes matched planted-natural forest pairs, as well as the monthly proportions of flash drought days and slow drought days in both natural and planted forests. It also contains the code for the Bidirectional Gated Recurrent Unit (Bi-GRU) network and K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) algorithm used for forest matching. These are related to the manuscript "Understanding flash drought variations in China's planted and natural forests through machine learning counterfactual analysis".
