Lesion effect on motor recovery

The study was approved by the Ethics Review Board of the
Loewenstein Hospital. All patients signed an informed consent prior to
recruitment for the study. Normalized lesion data were used for voxel-based
lesion-symptom mapping (VLSM) analyses, performed separately for patients with
left and right hemisphere damages. Function of the hemiparetic upper limb was
examined using the Fugl-Meyer test and the Box and Blocks test.
