GRID3 DRC Kongo Central Settlements Points, Version 1

The "GRID3 DRC Kongo Central Settlements Points, Version 1" provides a comprehensive dataset of settlements and their names to help target service delivery and development investments. The Kongo Central settlement layers contain settlement points and name attribute data that fall within the Kongo Central boundary and are divided into built up areas, small settlement areas, and hamlets. This work has been undertaken as part of the Geo-referenced Infrastructure and Demographic Data for Development (GRID3) initiative in Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). GRID3 works with countries to generate, validate and use geospatial data on population, settlements, infrastructure, and subnational boundaries.
