Study of microbial (bacterial) community of soil of CSIR-CIMAP, Lucknow, maintained under organic vs. conventional farming

Aim of study was to evaluate the effect of bioinoculant on the growthand essential oil yield of /Ocimum basilicum /(Sweet Basil) under fieldexperiments of two years. Pyrosequencing of metagenomic 16S rRNA genewas carried out to analyze the effect of bioinoculants on the indigenousbacterial community. This study would help to establish a correlationbetween niche differentiation, growth and disease management inbioinoculants treated /O. basilicum /(Sweet Basil).
