Idiomarina baltica strain OS145. This is the type strain (OS145; DSM 15154, LMG 21691) for the species. This strain was isolated from the the oxic water column of the Gotland Deep in the Baltic Sea at a depth of 30 m using Marine agar. It shows high temperature and salinity tolerance.
