The advancement of national science and technology relies heavily on the effective dissemination of research findings. Scientific-research journals serve as fundamental platforms for validating, organizing, and promoting knowledge. This study investigates the credibility of Iranian scientific-research journals with a focus on their role in achieving the country's scientific development goals. Employing a qualitative methodology, the study analyzes indicators such as international indexing, peer-review policies, impact factor, and citation rates. The findings reveal that despite some improvements, issues like weak peer review systems, lack of transparency, and insufficient alignment with international standards hinder the full scientific effectiveness of these journals. The paper concludes with strategic recommendations to enhance the global visibility and domestic impact of Iranian academic publishing.رشد علمی کشورها در دهه‌های اخیر بیش از پیش به نشر دستاوردهای علمی وابسته شده است. مجلات علمی-پژوهشی نقش کلیدی در ساماندهی، اعتباربخشی و ترویج دانش دارند. این پژوهش به بررسی اعتبار مجلات علمی پژوهشی ایران با تأکید بر نقش آنها در تحقق اهداف علمی کشور می‌پردازد. روش تحقیق کیفی بوده و از تحلیل محتوا و بررسی شاخص‌های نمایه‌سازی، ضریب تأثیر، سیاست‌های داوری و میزان ارجاع‌دهی استفاده شده است. نتایج نشان می‌دهد که با وجود پیشرفت‌هایی در برخی حوزه‌ها، همچنان چالش‌هایی نظیر ضعف در نظام داوری، کمبود شفافیت در ارزیابی‌ها، و فاصله از استانداردهای بین‌المللی، مانعی در مسیر اثربخشی کامل این مجلات در سطح ملی و بین‌المللی به شمار می‌روند.
