UWA, Minderoo – Exploring Australia’s deepest Marine Parks – CTD profiles

This dataset contains CTD profiles collected during the Parks Australia project Exploring the Deepest Parts of Australian Marine Parks, led by the Minderoo-UWA Deep-Sea Research Centre (MUDSRC). CTD sensors were mounted on autonomous lander frames and deployed in the Perth Canyon and Gascoyne Marine Parks. The purpose of the overall study is to characterise the environmental conditions, biodiversity, geological features, and benthic habitats of the deepest areas within Australia’s marine parks.

本数据集收录了由明德罗-西澳大学深海研究中心（Minderoo-UWA Deep-Sea Research Centre，缩写MUDSRC）牵头实施的澳大利亚公园管理局“澳大利亚海洋公园最深处探索”项目中获取的CTD剖面（CTD profile）数据。CTD传感器搭载于自主式着陆器框架之上，布放于珀斯峡谷（Perth Canyon）与加斯科因海洋公园（Gascoyne Marine Park）海域。本研究的整体目标为表征澳大利亚各海洋公园最深区域的环境条件、生物多样性、地质特征以及底栖生境。
