Traditional tests like the Frequency Pattern Test (FPT) and Duration Pattern Test (DPT) assess order perception but don't reveal the underlying deficits causing poor performance. Hence, this thesis investigates these possible underlying deficits in order perception and examines the relationship between order perception and speech perception, memory, and reading abilities. Findings based on the three studies conducted in young adults, typically developing children and children with listening and/or reading difficulties, indicated strong correlations between FPT performance and its abilities- frequency discrimination, rapid sound processing, and memory. Order perception showed associations with reading and language but not with speech perception.
诸如频率模式测试(Frequency Pattern Test, FPT)及时长模式测试(Duration Pattern Test, DPT)这类传统测试,虽可评估个体的顺序知觉能力,却无法揭示导致测试表现欠佳的潜在认知缺陷。有鉴于此,本论文针对顺序知觉的各类潜在缺陷展开探究,并系统考察顺序知觉与言语知觉、记忆及阅读能力之间的关联。本研究基于三项分别针对青年群体、典型发育儿童以及存在听觉和/或阅读困难的儿童的实验得出结论:FPT测试表现与个体的频率辨别、快速听觉加工及记忆能力存在显著相关;顺序知觉与阅读及语言能力存在关联,但与言语知觉并无显著关联。
