Satellite data and socioeconomic data of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

This study examines the dynamics between urban and pastoral systems in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, where the rapid urban expansion and economic transition have reshaped the spatial and socioeconomic conditions of the pastoral system. Landsat satellite data were obtained from the USGS Earth Explorer website (https://www.usgs.gov/educational-resources/earth-explorer). The socioeconomic data were accessed from the Mongolian Statistical Information Service website (https://www.1212.mn/en).
