In this work, the data of simulation experiments includes ten anonymous elective surgery schedules/cases within the successive working day from a 3A hospital in Nanping, China. There are five mixed operating rooms and one dedicated operating room, i.e., six operating rooms. The start time, end time, and duration of each elective surgery in every operating room are shown on this file. This hospital generally performs elective surgeries from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., local time within the working day. In most cases, the overtime period is no later than 6 p.m. to ensure the quality of regular work the next day. In addition, we assume that the surgery durations of emergency surgeries are uniformly generated in the interval [2 hours, 4 hours], which is consistent with Doulabi et al. In collaborative surgery planning of multi-hospital, the deteriorating times of emergency surgeries are uniformly generated from the interval [60, 840] minutes as suggested by Fei et al. (2009), which is consistent with our cooperative hospital.
