The major data of "Intense Bottom marine Heatwaves on Global Shelves Driven by West-boundary Current Intrusions and Vertical Mixing" includes: Bottom and surface marine heatwave variables identified from NEMO data, including onset time, end time, intensity (with variations), duration, and location of all marine heatwave events. The "location" is the index of the latitude and longitude coordinates. The specific conversion relationship between the latitude and longitude coordinates and the index is detailed in the file "MHW_grid.mat". Datas are saved in matlab files of “MHW_bottom.mat” and “MHW_surface.mat”.
