Raw data on the deformation of granitic mylonite in a Paterson gas-medium apparatus

This data set is about the raw data on deformation of 15 granitic mylonite samples at a confining pressure of 300 MPa and temperatures of 800-1000 °C in a Paterson gas-medium apparatus. This data set can be used to inverstigate the effect of foliation and lineation on the deformation of granitic mylonite under high temperature. Results show that the maximum strength is not perpendicular to the foliation as previously expected or reported but parallel to the lineation direction.

本数据集涵盖15个花岗质糜棱岩(granitic mylonite)样品在围压(confining pressure)300 MPa、温度800~1000 ℃条件下，于帕特森气体介质变形仪(Paterson gas-medium apparatus)中开展变形实验的原始数据。该数据集可用于探究高温环境下叶理(foliation)与线理(lineation)对花岗质糜棱岩变形行为的影响。研究结果显示，花岗质糜棱岩的最大强度并非如既往预期或已有报道所示与叶理垂直，而是与线理方向平行。
