Minority Health Index Explorer (MHIE)

The MHIE is a geospatial dashboard that allows users to visualize and analyze the Minority Health Social Vulnerability Index across the United States. Its primary purpose is to help public health professionals and policymakers identify minority communities that are more vulnerable to health emergencies and adverse health outcomes. It covers health indicators such as: Healthcare access, Chronic disease prevalence, Race and ethnicity distribution, Language proficiency, Socioeconomic factors, and Household characteristics.MHIE是一款地理空间仪表板（geospatial dashboard），可支持用户对美国全境的少数族裔健康社会脆弱性指数（Minority Health Social Vulnerability Index）开展可视化与分析工作。其核心目标是协助公共卫生专业人员与政策制定者，甄别出更易受健康突发事件及不良健康结局波及的少数族裔社区。该工具涵盖以下健康指标：医疗可及性（Healthcare access）、慢性病患病率（Chronic disease prevalence）、种族与族裔分布（Race and ethnicity distribution）、语言能力（Language proficiency）、社会经济因素（Socioeconomic factors）以及家庭特征（Household characteristics）。
