Original data for research on epidermal nanostructures in alpine lizards

This dataset comprehensively supports the research about epidermal nanostructures in alpine lizards. It contains all original experimental materials, including infrared thermoregulation videos, skin reflectance and transmittance spectral measurements, histological images for melanin quantification, scanning and transmission electron microscopy images of skin microstructures, and relevant environmental variables. The data are systematically organized into six main folders corresponding to each analytical component, complemented by analysis code, individual reference files, and phylogenetic trees in the main directory. All files are clearly named and structured to ensure traceability from raw recordings to analyzed parameters, facilitating reproducibility and further research in thermal ecology, functional morphology, and comparative physiology.
