资源简介:
The Natal long-fingered bat (Miniopterus natalensis) is a species of vesper bat in the family Miniopteridae. It is found in dry savanna, moist savanna, Mediterranean-type shrubby vegetation, caves, and hot deserts (from Wikipedia entry). This sample of a female individual found in Southern Malawi was procured by Brennan Peterson-Wood, Chloe Sutcliffe, Claudia Borrell, Dan Whitby, Annika Binet, and Brigitte De Coriolis to generate a high-quality reference genome for Bat1K and the Bat Biology Foundation. Sequencing was conducted at Paratus Sciences and genome assembly was conducted at the Vertebrate Genome Lab (VGL) at the Rockefeller University, led by Erich D. Jarvis, Giulio Formenti, and Jennifer Balacco. Use of this data is limited under a 1-year embargo starting from the date of release on GenBank (https://vertebrategenomesproject.org/data-use-policies).
