Global transcriptomic changes induced by HLVd, CBCVd and mixed infections

In this study, we employed the comparative transcriptome profiling to investigate genome-wide changes in gene expression associated with individual HLVd and CBCVd infected hop. Furthermore, we have extended our study to investigate the global changes in gene expression patterns in the association of HLVd-CBCVd co-infection, which could be helpful for understanding the mechanisms that underlie the induction of more severe disease symptoms in mixed infection of HLVd-CBCVd as compared to CBCVd/HLVd single infection in the hop.
