GEM-MACH ensemble files for EnsAI validation set (2014-07)

This data repository contains the files used for validation the EnsAI chemical ensemble generation system(Sitwell [2025]) for 2014-07. Files for each fields are saved in compressed in .tar.gz files, each of which contains the files of thatfield type for a particular year and month. Each field for a particular date and time are save as abinary numpy file (.npy). The description of each field and its units are as follows: ENH3: NH3 emissions perturbation (g/s) TT: surface temperature (C) UU: zonal wind (kts) VV: meridional wind (kts) TNH3: NH3 surface concentration perturbation (ppbm) The grid that each field is defined on has coordinates that are given in the file coords.npz. Files can beread with NumPy's 'load' function. Ensembles were generated as documented in Sitwell et al. [2022] using version 3.1.0 GEM-MACH air qualitymodel (Moran 2010).
