ASTI Oman database

This dataset contains national-level data on financial, human, and institutional resources for agricultural research and development (R&D). Accurate, reliable, and internationally comparable quantitative information on investments, human capacity, and the institutional structure of agricultural R&D is fundamental to understanding the contribution of research to agricultural growth in low- and middle-income countries. Providing such data is the mission of IFPRI’s Agricultural Science and Technology Indicators (ASTI) program. Through its large network of national, regional, and international partners, ASTI collects and analyzes data from government, higher education, nonprofit, and (where possible) private-sector agencies involved in agricultural R&D. The program conducts ongoing analysis of these datasets; disseminates the results of this analysis to promote advocacy and support policymaking; and builds national and regional capacity for data collection and analysis.This data was collected in 2014 and made it to Dataverse in 2015. 本数据集收录了农业研究与开发（Research and Development，简称R&D）领域的国家级财政、人力与制度资源数据。精准可靠且具备国际可比性的农业研发投入、人力能力与制度结构相关量化信息，是理解研究对低收入及中等收入国家农业增长贡献的核心依据。提供此类数据，正是国际粮食政策研究所（International Food Policy Research Institute，简称IFPRI）旗下农业科学与技术指标（Agricultural Science and Technology Indicators，简称ASTI）项目的使命所在。ASTI依托覆盖国家级、区域级及国际层面的庞大合作伙伴网络，从参与农业研发的政府机构、高等院校、非营利组织以及（在可行范围内）私营部门机构处收集并分析相关数据。该项目持续对上述数据集开展分析工作，发布分析成果以推动政策倡导与支撑政策制定，并提升国家级与区域级的数据收集与分析能力。本数据集于2014年完成采集，并于2015年上传至Dataverse。数据集文件：http://www.asti.cgiar.org/oman
