In this work, a series of polymeric coating formulations were developed by emulsion polymerization from pH-sensitive acrylic monomers. These research results can support the design of coatings for drugs, especially for those that are orally administered and have colonic release. The coatings are suitable for protecting the HPMC capsule at gastric pH (pH= 1.2) and dissolve at a simulated intestinal pH of 7.2. The delivery kinetics of the test molecule occurs over a range of 1 to 4 hours. This range is related to the formulation of the terpolymer, its solubility and the release of the associated API.
本研究通过乳液聚合法,以pH敏感型丙烯酸类单体为原料,制备了一系列聚合物包衣配方。本研究成果可为药物包衣的设计提供支撑,尤其适用于口服给药且需实现结肠释药的药物。该包衣可在胃酸pH(pH=1.2)环境下对羟丙基甲基纤维素(Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, HPMC)胶囊起到保护作用,并在模拟肠道pH=7.2的环境中溶解。受试分子的释药动力学过程持续1至4小时,该时长范围与三元共聚物的配方、其溶解度以及相关活性药物成分(Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient, API)的释放行为密切相关。
