资源简介:
Cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) member of the Curcurbitaceae, is one of the most common vegetable worldwide. Cucumber scab which is caused by C. cucumerinum is economically important disease diminished cucumber production globally. This pathogen is capable of surviving from season to season inside or on the surface of cucumber seeds. The potential sources of inoculum are seeds, disease plants, wild cucurbits, weeds and infected soil debris thereby lead to high infection rate in cucumber plants. Symptoms appeared on leaves, stems, petioles, fruits and young shoots consisted of pale green, necrotic and water soaked lesions, sometime with a gummy exudate. Cucumber scab resulting >50% loss during moist weather or prolonged cool. However, there is still no information concerning the genomes of Cladosporium cucumerinum. The purpose of the present study was to obtain complete genome of Cladosporium cucumerinum strain ccnx2 for understanding the mechanistic bases of virulence and survival mechanism. Our data will provide a platform for future characterization of virulence genes.
