IOOS Glider - MARACOOS - ud_476-20181112T1258

Deployment of a Slocum glider to perform surveys of acoustically tagged fish species east of the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) wind area. This deployment aims to determine how far offshore fish species are migrating through the region. A secondary goal of this deployment is to measure the oceanographic features of the Mid Atlantic Cold Pool offshore.
