Temperature and salinity profiles were collected from CTD casts along the eastern coast of the U.S. from the R/V Whiting, Bay Hydrographer, and other platforms from 14 February 1997 to 03 December 1997. Data are in the Wood Hole Oceanographic Institute (WHOI) CTD exchange format.
1997年2月14日至1997年12月3日，研究团队于美国东海岸沿线，依托“惠廷号”（R/V Whiting）、“海湾测量者号”（Bay Hydrographer）及其他观测平台，通过CTD（Conductivity Temperature Depth，温盐深仪）观测站位采集了温度与盐度剖面数据。所有数据采用伍兹霍尔海洋研究所（Wood Hole Oceanographic Institute, WHOI）制定的CTD交换格式存储。
