MutChromSeq to identify Eceriferum-q gene in barley. MutChromSeq_cer-q

We used MutChromSeq to identify the barley wax synthesis gene Eceriferum-q. We sequenced the wildtype and 6 EMS mutants that had been reported to have lost a functional Eceriferum-q gene. The loss is likely to be due to a non-synonymous mutation in the coding region of the gene. We sequenced flow-sorted chromosomes 2H from wildtype and mutants.
