Rwanda (2011): Youth HIV Behavioral Intervention Tracking Survey Among Youth Age 15-24

This study is a household-based population Tracking Results Continuously (TRaC) survey targeting youth age 15-24. This survey aims to answer three fundamental questions related to segmentation, monitoring and evaluation of Youth HIV Prevention targeted populations. This study does not attempt to be nationally representative; it will be conducted in eight districts of the country. It aims to address the key gaps in the BSS II and RDHS studies A total of 5000 youth age 15-24 will be interviewed. Data will be collected in eight purposively selected districts of Rwanda: Huye, Musanze, Gasabo, Ngoma, Muhanga, Gicumbi, Kicukiro and NyagatareWithin the eight purposively selected districts, a two-stage cluster sampling approach would be used.
