MiSeq forward and reverse reads paired reads of the V4 region of the 16S rRNA gene. Data were generated from banknotes involving five denominations (2, 5, 10, 20, and 50), 30 notes each. Currency were randomly collected from three different street markets or "feiras" in the metropolitan region of São Paulo.
