Documentation of ecological disaster on River Odra. The Odra (German: Oder) is a large river flowing through three countries: the Czech Republic, Poland, and Germany (length: 854 km, basin: 118,861 km²). In late July 2022, the Odra became severely polluted, and its populations of fish and aquatic molluscs suffered hitherto unprecedented mass mortality (Save the Oder Coalition 2022, https://saveoder.org/).
