A daily terrestrial-AIS census of 15 United States port complexes, 2015-2025

An auditable every-day terrestrial Automatic Identification System census of 15 spatially assignable United States port complexes from 1 January 2015 through 31 December 2025. The release contains 463,113,836 retained position reports from 23,392 MMSIs in 4,018 daily parquet partitions, an append-only ingestion ledger, frozen spatial definitions, a 1,980-row complex-month activity panel, and a NOAA-derived vessel-characteristics table. Ship-days and 24-hour gap-defined call starts are algorithmic activity products; berth, anchor, waiting, emissions, exposure, and policy effects are not validated by this dataset.
