The bathythermograph (XBT) data containing 3,287 observations was collected between July 31, 1990 to August 31, 1990 as part of Integrated Global Ocean Service System (IGOSS) project. The data were sent from the cruise ships to the Ocean Products Center, Camp Springs, MD via telecommunication. This data was submitted by Mr. William D. Newell.
