Short- and long-term effects of corn starter structure in Holstein Friesian calves of 4 and 8 months old

The objective of the trial was to assess the effect of corn starter structure (meal or steam-flaked) on feed intake, growth, the development of the gastro-intestinal tract (GIT), and the microbial composition of the rumen.
