Global sensitivity analysis for investigation of bacterial physiology in complex media with FBA-PRCC

This dataset was created by the use of FBA-PRCC approach, which is based on sampling flux space and global sensitivity analysis (GSA), for analysis of the GEM FBA solution space in the nutrient-rich environment. We identify two new modes of interaction between species and metabolites: attraction and avoidance, and propose the way of their use. We have shown that sensitivity coefficients provide additional information about the behavior of the bacteria in the nutrient-rich environment in comparison to standard knockouts, FVA and CoPE-FBA analysis.
本数据集采用基于通量空间采样与全局敏感性分析(Global Sensitivity Analysis, GSA)的FBA-PRCC方法构建,用于解析营养富集环境下基因组规模代谢模型(Genome-Scale Metabolic Model, GEM)的通量平衡分析(Flux Balance Analysis, FBA)解空间。本研究鉴定出物种与代谢物之间两种全新的互作模式:吸引与排斥,并提出了其应用方案。研究结果表明,相较于标准基因敲除、通量变异性分析(Flux Variability Analysis, FVA)以及CoPE-FBA分析,敏感性系数可提供营养富集环境下细菌行为的额外相关信息。
