Abstract:
When thinking about India's past, one must include Murshidabad. During the Middle Ages, Bengal's capital was Murshidabad. Both culturally and industrially, Karnasubarna of Murhsidabad was significant in the ancient world. The autonomous Nawabs of Bengal in the last Mughal era were the cultural and political focal points of this. Murshidabad was also the starting point for British authority in India after the Plassey and Baxa battles. English education began in Murshidabad as a consequence of this, which caused a major shift in the city's educational system as well as its economic and political structures. The zamindars and rulers of India, together with Christian missionaries, played an important role in the dissemination of modern education in Murshiadabad.
