The protic ionic liquid verapamil hydrochloride (VH) confined in anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) nanopores was used to investigate non-equilibrium relaxation dynamics under confinement. For this purpose, a series of time-dependent dielectric measurements were performed to examine the influence of pore size, annealing temperature, and temperature-jump depth on the equilibration kinetics of nanopore-confined VH. The obtained data were further used to analyze conductivity relaxation and to estimate the extent of pressure and volume changes induced by the nanoporous geometry. The dataset includes raw dielectric spectroscopy data, detailed descriptions of the AAO nanopore infiltration procedure, and experimental conditions.
