Extracellular vesicles from hepatocytes are therapeutic for toxin-mediated fibrosis and gene expression in the liver

Norm mouse hepatocyte-derived extracellular vesicles were used to treat CCl4-injured mice and the hepatic transcript changes were measured by RNA-seq. Overall design: 5 groups of mice were treated with or without CCl4 three times per week for 5 weeks. Some mice received EV i.p. three times per week over the last 2 weeks of the experiment. Mice were sacrificed 36 h after the last CCl4 injection, and liver tissues were used for RNA extraction, followed by RNA-seq analysis.
