Fecal Microbiome of 6mo and 12mo Peruvan Infants

The purpose of this dataset is to investigate associations between host iron status and the fecal microbiome during infancy. Note that in our analysis we excluded subjects whose sex was not consistently reported across datasets (MC164, MC179, MC193, MC208), had indications of urinary contamination of the fecal sample (MC124, MC213), or the provided sample had high alpha-diversity and was suspected to have come from an adult (MC010, MC013, MC041, MC189).
