Hindi-Aesthetics-Corpus

This corpus comprises novels and short stories written in Hindi. We collected the dataset from three sources: 1) the electronic library maintained by Mahatma Gandhi Antarashtriya Hindi Vidyalaya, officially translated as Mahatma Gandhi International Hindi University, with its domain http://hindisamay.com; 2) the website http://premchand.co.in, which is dedicated to the works of the renowned Hindi author Premchand; and 3) the digital library of the Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute, accessible at http://borilib.com. As a preprocessing step, we split the text into sentences and removed special characters, English tokens, and Latin numerals.
