To follow HIV-1 viral dynamics in HIV-1 positive individuals over time a specific genomic region of the Envelope gene called "V3" was NGS sequenced over the course of therapy. Sampling occurred at or immediately after diagnosis of HIV-1 and was followed throughout the first months/years of therapy. The goal of the study was to decipher viral dynamics over time in the host.
