Hematoxylin-eosin testing for diagnosis of superficial fungal infections: a diagnostic accuracy study dataset

Enclosed are datasets created by four different assessors at different levels of training and experience that demonstrate the accuracy of hematoxylin-eosin staining for the diagnosis of dermatophytosis in a consecutive series of 100 cases selected on the basis of exposure to PAS testing due to clinical suspicion of dermatophytosis.
