资源简介:
Galveston Island transportation network used for post-hazard road-connectivity and bridge-damage analyses in the companion paper by Amini et al. (2025). The road network shapefile contains approximately 600 miles of roadway augmented with 13 major bridges that provide access to and from the mainland, as well as minor bridges added by the study authors to complete the analysis-level network topology. Link-level attributes include a unique link identifier, bridge flag/type, start and end nodes, segment length, posted speed, and number of travel lanes. A separate point shapefile identifies the mainland access locations used as the destination set for shortest-path and connectivity analyses from every building on the island. Together, these datasets support link-level fragility analysis (roadway failure from inundation duration and shoreline proximity; bridge deck unseating from storm surge and wave forces), graph-based connectivity analysis, and tract-level aggregation of the percentage of buildings that retain road access to the mainland after a storm event. All geometries are in WGS 1984 (EPSG:4326).
