Determinants of Farmers' Choice of Climate Variability Adaptation Strategies in Kitui County

The study was carried out to assess determinants of farmers’ choice of specific adaptation strategies to climate variability and extreme events in selected agro-ecological zones in Kitui County. Descriptive survey design was used where the area was stratified into four study sites with respect to four different agro-ecological zones with a sample size of 341 households.本研究旨在评估基图伊县（Kitui County）选定农业生态区（agro-ecological zones）内，农户针对气候变异性与极端气候事件选择特定适应策略的影响因素。本研究采用描述性调查设计，依据四类不同的农业生态区将研究区域划分为四个研究站点，最终样本量为341户农户。
