This is a dataset for a publication by M. Makarova, R. Tapia, M. Mohtadi, A. Hou, J. Groeneveld, A. N. Meckler, K.-F. Huang, R.-Y. Tung, Y. Iizuka, and S. L. Ho "Contradictory upper-ocean thermal gradients inferred from inorganic and organic paleothermometers: a case study from the eastern tropical Indian Ocean". The file includes: Tab 1. Clumped isotopes data from G. ruber, T. trilobus, N. dutertrei, and G. menardii at site GeoB10038-4 (5.94°S, 103.25°E) for two time intervals of 0-2 ka and 19-21 ka; Tab 2. Mg/Ca data from T. trilobus and G. menardii at site GeoB10038-4 for two time intervals of 0-2 ka and 19-21 ka; Tab 3. Estimated mean temperatures of surface and subsurface using foraminiferal clumped isotopes, foraminiferal Mg/Ca, UK'37, and TEX86 with confidence intervals at 68% and 95% at sites GeoB10038-4 and MD98-2152 (6.33°S, 103.88°E) for two time intervals of 0-2 ka and 19-21 ka.
