The OLR anomaly signal dataset for the Nepal region spanning 2009–2018 is constructed using NOAA satellite outgoing longwave radiation (OLR) signals collected from the area affected by the April 25, 2015 Nepal earthquake as the original data source, with data mining performed via the martingale theory algorithm in stochastic processes.
Spatially, this dataset covers a 5×5 grid system (totaling 25 grids) centered at the epicenter of the 2015 Nepal earthquake at (28.23°N, 84.73°E). Each grid has a spatial dimension of 2.5°×2.5°, and the epicenter is located in Grid No.13 (25, 34).
Temporally, each annual cycle is defined as the period from September 28 of the previous year to September 28 of the current year, totaling 366 days. The first 50 days of each annual cycle are used as the initial dataset, with all initial values set to 1.
The dataset contains OLR anomaly signal data for the Nepal region from 2009 to 2018. It is stored as a single .xls file with a size of 3.92 MB.
